For Mentors
Teach by doing the work you already do.
Mentors are the people who own the project. Apprentices join your work, you guide them through it, and at the end your signature turns their effort into evidence employers trust.
What you do
Four things, mostly in minutes.
Guide on real work
Apprentices contribute to a project you already own, with no separate curriculum to write.
Approve hours
Check logged hours each week. Approved hours are what apprentices are paid for.
Review work
Accept work or ask for changes with a short note. Feedback is the teaching.
Sign the proof
At the end, edit and sign a letter of recommendation and confirm the project record.
What Instiform handles
You mentor. We run the program.
- 1
Instiform matches and prepares
Apprentices arrive ready to contribute, with hours and responsibilities agreed upfront.
- 2
A clear five-stage plan
Connection, tutelage, participation, completion and documentation. The portal shows where you are.
- 3
Safeguarding and conduct
A code of conduct for everyone, and a separate line to Instiform for apprentices.
Questions
What Mentors ask first.
